Quintin Head was the first event on the British Rowing calendar for 2020, and Lymington Men’s Masters put in a fair effort. The crew was strong and featured Toby Backhouse in the 5 seat who is somewhat familiar with the water having raced in multiple boat races.

The crew started strong and pulled away from the crews behind, the gap then remained as they went under Hammersmith Bridge and continued till they finish. Lymington Masters finished a respectable 3rd in their category and were in the top 75 crews overall out of a total of 235 crews.
